Exactly at the outbreak of Corona Times, the label around Annenmaykantereit asked me to work on a music video for the new single AUSGEHEN.
The band was completely scattered all over the world at the time, which is why the idea came up to work out a kind of collaged music video in which the band members film themselves getting ready to go out.
That this happened in an isolated, self-filming form was certainly rather unplanned, but would prove fitting in the months to come.
For me, the music video is interesting precisely because it shows something like the anticipation of going out in this isolated, online-telephony-based way that was very typical of the time.
None of my videos remind me more of that weird time of the corona pandemic. The video today has over 20 million views on YouTube.
